Using this website

This website is a static information site. Its own code does not use analytics, advertising trackers, embedded social feeds, local storage or cookies. Fonts and images are served with the website. The original DNA video background is embedded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player on desktop when reduced motion is not requested; this sends technical requests to YouTube. Phones and visitors requesting reduced motion receive the locally served still image. Hosting providers process technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver web pages.

Getting in touch

If you email culongevity@gmail.com, the information you choose to send is handled through the society’s email account to respond to your enquiry. Please avoid including sensitive information in a general enquiry.

Email newsletter

The newsletter form is currently unavailable while the society configures Mailchimp. The inactive preview form does not collect or submit information.

Once enabled, the signup form will send the information you enter directly to Mailchimp on behalf of the Cambridge Ageing Research Society to provide society news and event updates. The form must ask for your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter. Mailchimp’s privacy statement explains its processing of personal information.

Video background

The original DNA animation uses YouTube’s embedded player. YouTube is operated by Google, whose privacy policy applies to requests to that service. The society can disable the video in its site configuration while retaining the original still image.
